Posted January 8, 2009A new leadership training curriculum helps empower parents of children with disabilities to advocate for change in their communities. The Parents as Collaborative Leaders curriculum, a project of the University of Vermont and PACER, is now available as 10 PowerPoint modules on the Parents as Collaborative Leaders Web site.

The “SEAC Strategies for Success Guidebook” is a printed manual of PACER’s “SEAC Strategies for Success: An Online Guide for Minnesota Local Special Education Advisory Councils.” The training guide is designed to support and encourage local SEACs as they endeavor to increase parent involvement and SEAC effectiveness. All twelve training modules and templates are included.
